Makeup Product Breakdown

I thought that I could write a blog post about the makeup I used on this beautiful lady for her special occasion.

This beautiful lady, let’s say Mrs D, she requested that she would like fairly natural makeup as she doesn’t really wear it everyday, normally she would only wear  a sheer foundation with one coat of mascara. When I saw her on the day, she was wearing a pair of glasses and no makeup on her. She explained how she would love wearing full makeup on everyday feeling fabulous but her two young children keep her busy and they won’t let her have time on her own.

The products I used are below.

Base : Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer, as she’s got slightly oily t-zone and normal/combination skin, Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer mixed with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, and then I set the foundation only on t-zone with the face powder.

Eye : Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion, Stila Eyeshadow Pallet, Make Up For Ever Eyeliner,  and Clinique Waterproof Mascara. For her eye brows, I used the eyebrow pencil form the professional makeup shop I bought a long time ago – can’t remember the name, sorry!! I’ve also put lots of individual eyelashes especially towards the outer corner.

Face : Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, Hourglass Face & Cheek Pallet and the Balm highlighter.

Lip : I mixed two colours from Bobbi Brown lip range.

When she saw herself in the mirror, she was shocked and couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. This is the moment I love the most doing my job, and it makes me feel so satisfied making people beautiful, feeling better about themselves. She then decided not to wear her glasses on that day and I agreed with her.

Thank you for reading my blog. Hopefully this “product break down” will be informative for you to read x
