My preview bride Sarah shared her and Toby’s wedding on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings.
Sometimes a wedding photographer takes photos a bride getting ready for the ceremony in a hotel room and I’d happen to be in the photos as well but it wasn’t the case at Sarah’s. She chose to be ready in her parents house in a beautiful secluded place where there was no wedding photographer there. I’d politely asked her to send me some pictures of her on the wedding once they were ready – to be honest, I didn’t expect to see her photos after the wedding as the bride gets very busy with sending “Thank you cards” etc… and I wasn’t going to chase her either.
But yesterday, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings has send me a link to their website and found out about how the wedding went which was quite nice surprise because as a makeup artist, you only needed before the ceremony unless you get hired the entire day, you wouldn’t know how it all put together.
Sarah’s big day, it was already very warm in the morning, I still remember that my forehead quickly became sweaty while applying makeup on her, and she told me that she had a little emotional moment in the hair salon before meeting me. Also she worried her face without sunscreen in case the weather gets very hot later on the day so she might want to put some protection on her face… all the conversation we had suddenly flashed back to me… can’t believe it was July last year and how fast time flies! Anyway, I think the wedding reflected her style very well and I can tell all the guests enjoyed it as much as Sarah and Toby. The venue they used on their wedding is here Wasing Park .
I wish them happily ever after! xx
